Sunset

One of the most beautiful views in my city Rio de Janeiro is the sunset from Arpoador beach.  It´s one of the most famous touristic place in the town.
Usually we see a lot of tourists around the world take several pictures from this place but the most interesting is only sit and look for the ordinary people having fun, working, practicing sports and our most famous sport capoeira.

I was usually riding a bike or taken pictures from ordinary situation, this is my hobby. One afternoon I had the privilege to see this amazing sunset so beautiful.  In Ipanema and Arpoador beach, some people have the stranger habit, they clap until the end of sunset time.

Now, I usually meditate in this place about the life. We are always feeling pressure for several things as work, bills or relationship but in the biggest part of the time in a negative point of view. It´s difficult to stop for a bit to be grateful for the good things in our life.

The people are more solidary when you are talking about bad things, they always have a history to share with you but we are not ready to answer a simple question:  What did do to bring you a smile during this day?

After this question normally we receive a minute of silence, it´s not easy to answer because our mind is conditioned to concentrate in bad things not in good and simple things.
We can be happy walking on the beach, we can feel amazing looking the snow with a glass of wine, we can feel a peace sensation with our own company.

In my opinion, feel happy in our own company is the first step of everything and you are opening the door to receive the good things in your life.
